This policy explains what [Legal entity name], doing business as Waitlist Labs ("Waitlist Labs", "we", "us") collects about you, why, who sees it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.
1.What we collect
At the door. Your email, that you confirmed your age and accepted the terms, the date, and any referral code you used. Giving your email at the door does not make you a member.
When you request access. Your name, email, and what you tell us about who sent you or why you want in.
When you become a member or order. Your name, email, phone number if you give it, delivery address, what you ordered, the amount, the payment token and network, the address you paid from and the transaction ID you give us, and any referral code applied. We do not collect card numbers or bank details, because we do not take them.
As a referrer. The above, plus the payout wallet address you give us, payout requests, and your commission history.
Automatically. Standard server logs: your IP address, browser, pages requested and timing, kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting. We do not run advertising trackers.
2.Cookies
We set a small number of cookies, all strictly needed to run the house: one that remembers you passed the door and the email you gave there, one that keeps you signed in as a member or partner, one that keeps your cart, and one that remembers a referral code you arrived with so the person who referred you gets credit. They are not used for advertising and are not shared with anyone. Clearing them signs you out and sends you back to the door.
3.Why we use it
To let you in and keep you signed in. To take, fulfil, and ship your orders, and to match a payment to an order. To email you about your order, your membership, and, if you are a partner, your commissions. To answer you when you write to us. To credit referrals. To prevent fraud, abuse and under-age use. To meet legal obligations, including keeping records of sales.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We email you about your orders and, if you are a referrer, about your account. We do not run a separate marketing list.
4.Who sees it
Only the people and services needed to run the house:
- Our hosting and storage provider, which runs the site and stores our records.
- Our email provider, which delivers our messages to you.
- Our fulfilment warehouse and its carriers, which receive your name, address, phone number and the contents of your order so they can pack and ship it.
- Public blockchains. When you pay in crypto, the transaction is recorded publicly on that network by its nature. We do not put your name or order details on chain.
- Authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
- A buyer of the business, if the house is ever sold, on the same terms as this policy.
5.How long we keep it
Order and payment records for as long as tax and accounting law require, normally seven years. Membership details for as long as you are a member and a short period after. Access requests until we have acted on them and for up to two years after. Server logs for a short rolling period. When you end your membership we delete or anonymise what we are not required to keep.
6.Security
Records are stored in a private, access-controlled store. Sign-in is by single-use links sent to your email, so there is no password for anyone to steal. Access to admin tools is limited to the people who run the house. No system is perfectly secure, and if we ever have a breach that affects you we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
7.Your choices and rights
Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete what we are not required to keep. You can stop marketing email through the link in any such message. Depending on where you live you may have further rights, including under state privacy laws in the United States. We honour them, and we do not discriminate against you for exercising them.
8.Children
The house is for adults twenty-one and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under that age. If you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
9.Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell members by email if a change matters to them.
